THE POWER OF LVMH
In 1987, Louis Vuitton merged with Moët Hennessy to become ‘LVMH’. They now operate as the worlds most powerful conglomerate owning over 70 brands including; Celine, Kenzo, Givenchy, Fendi & March Jacobs. In November 2019 they acquired Tiffany & Co for 135 Dollars per share giving Tiffany a value of £16.2billion.
In 2019 LVMH achieved revenues of 53billion Euros and made a net profit of 7billion Euros. The group is controlled by Bernard Arnault, a French Billionaire who’s now the 3rd richest person in the world ahead of Warren Buffet.
